Friday's Furniture Fix #25

It's been almost six months since we started our furniture party and despite some of the co-hosts having to move on… I was determined to keep it going… as many of you know the reason I started it in the first place. If you don't know why, you can read more about it here. In order for the party to work better for all involved there will be a few changes that you will need to note...

A few things will stay the same…  we will continue to have the party weekly…  and we will have 5 features! Yay!

What will change? New times!  The party will start on Friday morning at 9AM CST and end on Sunday evening at 11PM CST.

The exciting change is that we have 2 new co-hosts on board who are fellow furniture makeover aficionados! Can I ask you to give them a warm welcome... and speaking of warm it seems that we are all Southern Bloggers... from Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Texas!

Let me introduce our new talented co-hosts…

Susie who blogs at The Chelsea Project is a dear soul who has been only been blogging for less than a year and is already making her mark as an accomplished furniture painter and stylist worthy of magazine features...

Melanie blogs at Lost and Found Decor. She is a seasoned furniture painter and flipper who besides teaching classes and selling her pieces, has written an ebook on how to make money selling painted furniture.

For those who are new Nancy who has been with me since the beginning blogs at Slightly Coastal. Her style is classic, quirky and vibrant with a definite dash of coastal. She loves to transform her home one room at a time. You definitely need to check out her master bathroom makeover.

I have done a variety of creative jobs and my most recent love is painting furniture. I enjoy bringing my previous experience as a faux finisher into the realm of furniture transformations.

So now that you know the exciting news,  make sure to come by next Friday at 9AM CST and add your furniture fixes to the party on any of our 4 blogs. We look forward to seeing what you have to share.

Now let's get on with tonight's features... a lot of lightened up pieces...

The most clicked project was this lovely Bergere chair makeover by Marie of  The Interior Frugalista. It was a lot of unexpected work... but it was so worth it and now it looks so fresh and pretty!

Melanie our new co-host from Lost and Found Decor shared this gorgeous dresser. The gold hardware that she revived looks great with the Layla Mint shade of milk paint that she used.

Susan from Homeroad did an amazing job on this cabinet painted in cream and metallic silver. The colors really work well together don't you think.

I Restore Stuff made over this gentleman's wardrobe. We love the stencilling and the curved moulding.

And last but certainly not least is this china cabinet by Coast and Country Vintage. It's just stunning in a pale silver and white with an antique glaze.

Grab a button from the sidebar if you have been featured.
Hope you have been inspired and now it's your turn...

Please make sure to have a link back to the party in order to be considered for a feature.
